Rock Elm Tavern was started by two friends (Troy Reding and Brad Sorenson) who had a passion for great food and a bump of bourbon. Their late-night chats about opening a restaurant became a reality with Plymouth opening in September 2015. The concept was quite simple: be a community gathering spot that serves great food and drinks. Their sister store, Holman's Table, at the Downtown St. Paul Airport, opened in January 2018. Holman's Table is an elevated dining experience for the jetsetter at heart. Featuring modern fare, classic bar & helicopter rides - for real. With the success of one location and a new concept, they went forward with a second Rock Elm Tavern, which opened in Maple Grove in September 2018. In 2021, Ally Restaurants was able to add Rock Elm Rig, a food truck.

In February 2023, Rock Elm at The Grove transferred ownership to Optimal Entertainment, who owns and operates Optimal Performance Golf in Maple Grove. Rock Elm at The Grove will transform the brand and concept in the summer of 2023. Troy Reding still owns and operates Rock Elm Tavern in Plymouth.

We are always accepting applications for hospitable servers, hosts, bussers & bartenders for the front of house, as well as cooks & dishwashers for the back of house.
